About Rush
Barrett Blade is Carter, an escaped convict who tries to retrieve one million dollars buried in the Californian desert. Chased by an army of cops and a pack of gun-toting criminals, Carter races pedal-to-the-metal through the desert to get to his money.
On the road he meets Cindy (Alexa Rae), who gets it from her boss (a greasy scrapyard owner played by Mike Horner) while Carter is waiting for the keys to his car. At the 'Pink Motel', Carter runs into a hooker called Sera (Devon) who actually likes it when he cums on her tits but totally hates it when she ends up in his getaway car after some masked goons spray their room with bullets. Surprisingly, the very next thing she does is give head to another guy (a gas station attendant), only to find herself in even deeper shit when Carter blows the bloke away.
Sera also witnesses two lesbians (Avy Scott and Jezebelle Bond) havin fun in a swimming pool. After some more nookie with Carter (this time in the desert), the unlikely couple picks up the money and gives chase to the cops...
The DVD includes a Making Of, blooper reel and a multi-angle look at a spectacular car crash scene.

Fast-paced roadmovie directed by Nic (DARK ANGELS) Andrews. In fact, it's so fast-paced and action-packed that the sex scenes get reduced to filler material. Well, almost. Dialogue snippets from mainstream flicks like KING OF NEW YORK and LEAVING LAS VEGAS litter the whole movie. Despite being shot in a format called 'Mini-35' (a DV camera outfitted with lenses normally used in 35mm shooting), the image quality suffers from soft focus throughout the movie.

Why spend your hard-earned cash on a 'hardcore feature film' if you can buy the latest Hollywood extravaganza for the same price? Then again, if both story and sex hold up well, there's no need to pick something from the mainstream shelf. But RUSH fails on both accounts, despite its flawless production values (Andrews really knows how to stage eye candy like shoot-outs and car crashes). Fans of Devon will want this title anyway, since she's quite a few of the sex scenes (although exclusively with her real-life fiancé, Barrett Blade).

Words like 'explosive', 'tough' and 'wild' come to mind when one looks at the cover of RUSH. Unfortunately, the movie is all about blondes, fast cars and uninspired sex scenes. Despite all their tattoos, the guys are a sorry bunch of softies. Though I did like the story, I have to say that RUSH feels like a softsex flick most of the time.

Wow! Just wow! It is beautifully shot, has a very well written story, a great score and decent amount of sex. Barrett Blade really knows how to act and Devon does a great job as well. RUSH may be the best adult film I have ever seen. Even my girlfriend was very excited about it. But if you are looing for rough and nasty porn, then RUSH is definitely not for you. Everyone else go pick it up right away. (Thomas Cock)
