As Andrew Blake continually refined his directorial skills since LES FEMMES EROTIQUES and keeps on doing so, this rather old movie is probably more for those fans, who aim for a complete collection. That's not to say that you won't get your visual fix, quite the contrary. And with its comparative abundance of hetero-scenes LES FEMMES EROTIQUES will be a valued alternative for 'haters' of Blake's 'Lipstick Lesbians'. A quick word about the transfer to DVD: Compared to more recent works, you have to lower your standards, but it's not really all that bad.
