Frivolous cult from 1972. Likely the most important porn ever made. The music alone would be worth publishing on CD. Linda Lovelace's oral skills have since become legendary. Despite hardcore sex this flick is exemplary due to its cinematic craft (Technicolor-look, artful cuts and sledgehammer symbolism) and the more sedate fuck scenes. Groovy.

Well well. The truthfulness of the very bitter Linda Lovelace's statements was repeatedly considered doubtful by prominent figures of the porn biz. And what can be said about the movie is that it is no doubt a pornhistorically valuable film, but - objectively - it is not that much better than all the other classics. But this by no means detracts from its qualities such as the very worthwhile blow and fuck-scenes and the whacky storyline.
