Madison Young's 50 SHADES OF DYLAN RYAN is clearly based on the literary S&M bestseller 'Fifty Shades of Grey' (hence the focus on S&M and disciplining). The one thing that sets this movie apart from other girl/girl flicks is the authentic lezzie S&M action. This isn't the sort of stuff you get to see every day! Naturally, the movie is aimed primarily at female/lesbian viewers - but that isn't to say that men won't like it just as much (unless they have a thing against hairy armpits, that is). In this respect, 50 SHADES OF DYLAN RYAN is a wonderfully straight-forward flick aimed at a very specific, clearly defined target audience. I can't say that I care much for this sort of movie, but nevertheless I can see its merit. Hence I still find that it deserves top marks. It's like going on holiday: the local sights and architectural marvels are required viewing. Only after you've taken them all in do you get to lie down on the beach.
