About Lust Love Life
LIFE LOVE LUST is a collection of three erotic/pornographic shorts from feminist porno pioneer Erika Lust. In LIFE, the owner of a restaurant celebrates his birthday with one of his waitresses after everyone else has left. LOVE revolves around an adventurous cougar (a horny woman in her forties) who seduces a charming young lover in a hotel room. LUST depicts the same-sex interplay between two women who massage each other's bodies by the light of a candle. Swedish director Erika Lust (FIVE HOT STORIES FOR HER), who set up the production company Lust Films in her home of Barcelona, gives us the label's latest release, LUST LOVE LIFE - an erotic gem for female audiences and couples. Of special note is the excellent camera work that adds even more depth to the scenes. The cast (both male and female) was carefully selected (that said, there is one silicone broad in the last scene - which is a bit odd considering the care that went into the casting process). At roughly 35 minutes per short, this disc runs a bit short (not counting the bonus material). But apart from that, Erika Lust's movie offers a lot of bang for the buck. Hats off to this director!

Right at the start you realize this isn't your ordinary adult flick. The performers actually look 'natural', i.e. they don't have that porn starlet look to them. The camera angles are also very original and the scene structure gives the action a good flow. The shorts are well-told and not too artsy for their own good. In fact, I never felt like I was watching a flick that was aimed exclusively at a strictly female audience. It's simply a good piece of pornography. That said, it is a bit short (each episode only lasts 35 minutes). There are two bonus shorts included on the disc that kinda make up for the short running time of the three main features (Lust, Love and Life). No idea why they weren't included with the three main shorts (although they do look a tad more experimental). I liked both of them, particularly LOVE ME LIKE YOU HATE ME (which has a few moments that are highly stimulating).
