According to recent surveys, women would love to see pornos in black&white. Apparently, high-end label Digital Sin was listening, hence the release of EROTIC BLACK & WHITE. The only time the monochrome visual concept is interrupted with brief flashes of red and yellow colour, is at the beginning of each scene. Both picture and sound are good, sometimes even excellent. The sex scenes (featuring stars like Katarina Kat) are quite passionate but not overly imaginative. This, then, would be my main criticism: black&white or not, the sex in this movie is not necessarily couple- or female-friendly. While I certainly welcome the experimental nature of EROTIC BLACK & WHITE and find the movie quite entertaining, I think it's a shame that the movie isn't more explicitly aimed at female viewers. At least it will prove popular with audiences looking for something visually original.
