Director Jakodema made good use of the massive budget for APOCALYPSE X and turned all those dollars into a very entertaining movie. The story is lifted straight from countless post-apocalyptic B-movies, with some visual flourishes à la 'Mad Max' and some wild sex thrown in for good measure. While the cast didn't make my heart skip a beat on paper, the movie is so intense and fast-paced that I quickly forgot about the line-up. I am not surprised, though, as Robby D. is listed in the credits... Could he in fact be behind the Jakodema pseudonym? I wouldn't be surprised, as he used to call himself 'Jack' in the past. The quality of APOCALYPSE X is certainly up to Robby's standards! It's a professional piece of work from beginning to end and quite likely on e of the best adult movies of 2014. And when I say 'movie', I really mean it - this is definitely worthy of being called 'cinema'!
