Just to get this straight: this is no 'traditional' bondage movie. The emphasis isn't on physical bondage (e.g. chains) but on the bizarre, on domination (i.e. being at the mercy of someone) in a more emotional sense. Director Kendo turns his stories of sexual lust and desire into an amazing visual feast that has to be seen to be believed. Throughout the movie, he superimposes images of a man and a woman in bondage over and over again. Although the sex is rather rough, the soothing music makes it more pleasurable to watch. The soundtrack is very dominant but at the same time necessary to evoke the mood Kendo is after. Direct-sound bits (moaning etc.) are well-integrated throughout. All in all, BONDAGE THOUGHTS is an absolute delight for connaisseurs.
