About Body Heat
There are pornos out there that are hot - and then there are Digital Playground movies (particularly the ones directed by superstar Robby D.). When feature film meets adult flick, the budgets generally soar - and so does whizkid director Robby D. BODY HEAT is gripping from the first minute to the 150th-odd minute. There's enough excitement in this emotional roller-coaster to make several Hollywood blockbusters pale look positively boring. The story revolves around love, sex and passion on the one hand and money, death and pain on the other. The cast is a genuine who's who of the adult industry.
BODY HEAT takes viewers on an adventurous ride with some of America's bravest fire fighters. When one team member loses his life during a bomb explosion, his brave companions realize that nothing will ever be the same again. As it turns out, one of the girls on the team had been in love with the deceased. Even worse, the department is about to lose its headquarters because of a financial bottleneck. But the sexy fire team quickly thinks up a way to fill the empty bank account again. Soon enough, uniforms are dropped and morale is rising again!

Fire is an excellent visual element for any porno. There are plenty of puns that can be made around people getting 'hosed down'. But Robby D. had a more serious story in mind when he pitched BODY HEAT. Naturally, there's always a bit of goofing around involved but it's still impressive to see how serious and professional this movie looks. It's a shame no other director out there feels as ambitious as Robby! Both content and packaging of this flick are exceptional and should serve as a benchmark for other adult feature films - or pornos in general. Even though Digital Playground have released a number of big-budget extravaganzas in the past, this one manages to outdo them all. BODY HEAT is clearly one of the year's best movies. It manages to entertain and thrill even during the non-sex scenes! Despite the odd loophole (the fire devil must be one of the clumsiest villains in the history of movies, for example), this movie deserves two very enthusiastic thumbs up!

Quite literally a damn hot adult feature film. Directed by Robby D., this big-budget thrill-ride offers a satisfying story and some truly nerve-wracking action. The sex scenes and the cast (e.g. Jesse Jane, Katsuni) leave nothing to be desired. Personally, I find the talent a bit too silicone-heavy but that's just me. The image quality and the camera work are outstanding. This big-budget porno is definitely one of the most important and game-changing titles of the year 2010!
