About Breaking Bad XXX
Pornography has finally been banned in California! Crime is rapidly on the rise since - rapes in particular - but life in general has improved (at least that's what the hypocrites in politics claim). Behind closed doors, however, politicians don't give a shit about the law. This is just what Walter White needs. He money fast but doesn't wanna do anything illegal to get it. His brother-in-law is a feared cop who specializes in hunting down pornographers. One day Walter accompanies him on a porno raid - and promptly runs into a former student of his film class. The girl needed some money and decided to do porn. Too bad the cops got her. Luckily, though, she has ties to an influential politician and won't have to face jail time. So Walter quickly formulates an idea: what if he blackmailed the politician? For the first time in his life he is tempted to do something completely illegal - to become a criminal. And as it turns out, crime does pay after all!

"Breaking Bad" is one of my favourite TV shows. There's more black humour and character development in one episode than in an entire season of "Desperate Housewives". Imagine my anticipation when I heard about this porno adaptation. But how does the adult version compare to the spoof? The cover doesn't look very promising, that's for sure. The graphics are cheap, no matter how you look at them. And the plot is rather nebulous; it took me quite a while to figure out what the movie is about. Apparently, the hook is that pornography is banned in California - but unlike the TV show there's nothing about drugs in this movie. Sure, there are parallels but going from Crystal Meth cooking to shooting porn is quite a stretch, if you ask me. The idea is interesting but not interesting enough to support an entire movie. Unfortunately, not even the rather good sex scenes made me feel better about this movie. I just wish they hadn't tried to come up with an alternative plot - it just doesn't work. They should have just stayed with drugs and white trash and then the porn adaptation would have been much more fun. Still, some of the sex scenes are really appealing and some people might have a good time with this flick after all - just not the die hard fans.
