GAME OF BONES is a porn parody directed by Lee Roy Myers. It's based on the cultish fantasy TV series 'Game of Thrones' (itself based on the books of R. R. Martin).
The seasons are unpredictable and highly variable on the fictitious worlds of 'Westeros' and 'Essos'. While the TV series 'Game of Thrones' features extremely intricate plots revolving around politics, societal issues and religion, the porn version of the fantasy epic focuses mainly on the topic of reproduction. Spoofing the fantasy TV series 'Game of Thrones' sounds like quite an ambitious endeavour to me. Lee Roy Myers felt up to the task and teamed up with a group of stars (e.g. Dana DeArmond and James Deen) to deliver a porno full of verbal innuendo and hot fucking (including some lezzie sex). Myers succeeds in mixing the sex with the laughs and gives us a genuine porn parody of the original series. Condensing the complex story of the TV show into 110 minutes is, of course, impossible and hardly necessary. After all, it's meant to be adult entertainment (and, personally, I couldn't care less about the plot, as I am not much of a fantasy buff anyway). I do, however, feel that GAME OF BONES is rather lame in the sex department. The same cannot be said about the picture quality, which is absolutely exemplary. It is also the main reason why this movie gets such a good rating from me.
